Days Until The Memorial

The Boots of Honor Memorial | Franklin, TN | May 16 – 20, 2026

They stood watch for us. Now, we stand for them.

For the first time in Tennessee, Memories of Honor is bringing the sacred grounds of our military bases into the heart of our community. This is more than an exhibit; it is a living history—a sea of 7,470 combat boots, each representing a hero who gave everything in service to our nation.

We would like to thank our shipping partner, Jones Logistics, for their careful, loving hands in moving the memorial from its former home behind military gates to its new home in Franklin, TN.

Memories of Honor and this event are proud partners of America250.

We will also lay a limited number of replacement boots for service members who were previously represented in the memorial, but whose original boots were collected by their families before Memories of Honor took custody of the display.

The replacement process will continue between the 2026 and 2027 memorials as we work to restore every missing boot and ensure each service member remains visibly represented in the formation.

Each boot added or replaced helps keep their name visible, their service remembered, and their legacy standing in formation.
